Hello, I'm Nicol and with the help of my husband Darren we've between us set up a small breeding cattery. I had hankered after Savannah cats for many years but never took the plunge , until one day Darren finally agreed we could buy one! We contacted Jill Fyfe of Savannahglam, who had an F5 litter available, I chose a lovely boy, my pet boy Stiles. A few weeks later Darren revealed that he had reserved an F2 female as a surprise! What an unexpected turn of events and an absolutely amazing surprise! We've since bought a few more Savannah cats TICA active and I've never looked back, my cats are my everything! Jill has been breeding Bengals for many, many years. Jill also breeds Savannahs, Toygers and Maine Coons....and so with Jill's help along came the Toygers too!
We have two Toyger sisters bred by Jill Fyfe and Cath Green (Glitterrose), we were able to buy these two lovely girls TICA active and our Toyger breeding programme had begun! Well, almost, there was the minor problem of finding a stud of course! There are so few Toyger breeders in the UK...But we did eventually find our boy, Maui (Mistymogwai Jojen) whom we bought from Gill and Mike Heaton (Mistymogwai).
We aren't completely new to breeding, I used to breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It was a wonderful hobby that I did thoroughly enjoy, until Darren and I set up our own aquatics business. With a brand new business requiring so much of our time I simply didn't have the time to commit to puppies anymore and so my last litter of puppies was born in 2011.
Back to the cats...
I took a step back from our aquatics business in 2020 to concentrate on my cats, and finally in May 2022 our first litter of Toygers arrived...
We're well into 2025 now, unfortunately our Toyger breeding programme never really took off! We had precious little success in breeding them and decided it was time to spay and neuter our Toygers!
However…
We now have our Maine Coons!…
